Locum tenens opportunity in York, PA providing cardiac anesthesiology coverage at a Level I trauma hospital. Coverage begins May 10, 2026 and is ongoing; full-time coverage is preferred, though candidates offering one week per month will be considered.

Schedule and Scope

• 4–5 shifts per week; 10-hour shifts (typical start times: 6:15 AM, 6:30 AM, or 7:00 AM).
• Clinical-only responsibilities delivering cardiac and general anesthesia across a broad spectrum of surgical and procedural cases for patients of all ages.
• Expected to manage complex cardiac cases and provide perioperative patient care in a high-acuity environment.

Facility and Support

• 593-bed hospital with multidisciplinary surgical and specialty backup and full perioperative support staff.
• Electronic medical record: Epic.
• Standard anesthesia and surgical equipment available.

Credentials and Compliance

• Pennsylvania medical license required or willingness to obtain.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology; minimum two years’ experience preferred.
• ACLS and PALS required; DEA not required.
• Hospital privileges and temporary privileges available (requires clean file and leadership approval); credentialing ~90 days.
