Locum tenens opportunity in York, PA, providing hospital, outpatient clinic, and OR coverage. Start date June 1, 2026, ongoing. Clinical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with 24-hour beeper call (7:00 AM–7:00 AM). Typical callback workload is approximately 2–6 hours/day.

Patient mix and volume:
- Adult population (18+); occasional pediatric emergencies
- Approximately 24–28 patients per day
- Admissions, rounding, and phone consults included
- General urology case mix: clinic visits, procedures, OR cases, and emergency call coverage
Facility and support:
- 593-bed hospital, Level I trauma center
- EMR: Epic
- On-site equipment: cystoscopes, towers, injection equipment
- Support staff: 4 medical assistants, 1 clinical support assistant, 1 RN
- APP supervision required
Privileges, credentialing, and compliance:
- Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available with clean file
- Credentialing timeline approximately 90 days
Procedures expected:
- Cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, lithotripsy
- Prostate procedures, vasectomy
- General urologic surgical procedures
- Robotic experience preferred but not required
Requirements:
- PA medical license or willingness to obtain
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- DEA required
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
- Comfortable supervising APPs

- Provide outpatient, inpatient, and operative urologic care
- Perform procedures and surgeries as indicated
- Participate in 24-hour call coverage
- Supervise APPs and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
