Locum tenens opportunity providing ongoing weekend urology call coverage in Lewisburg, PA (hospital setting). Coverage is 24-hour weekend call (Friday–Monday: either Fri 7:00 AM–Mon 7:00 AM or Fri 5:00 PM–Mon 7:00 AM), approximately two weekends per month; holiday coverage required. Coverage begins May 10, 2026 and continues on an ongoing basis.
Clinical scope: Adult inpatient and emergency urology consults and general urologic procedures. Responsibilities include admissions, rounding, phone consults, performing emergency procedures as needed, and documenting care in Epic. No pediatric coverage. Expect limited specialty backup and no onsite interventional radiology; complex trauma is transferred. No onsite APP support during call.
Facility and systems: 132-bed hospital using Epic. Standard hospital resources and support staff available.
Privileges and credentialing: Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges available with a clean license. Credentialing typically takes about 90 days.
Requirements: PA medical license (or willingness to obtain), DEA, board certified or board eligible in Urology, minimum five years’ post-training experience, and ability to work independently without onsite APP support.
