Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Graduate of accredited nursing program
- BLS required; ACLS and NRP preferred
- Previous L&D and/or Med Surg experience preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care in Labor & Delivery and Med Surg units
- Monitor maternal, fetal, and general patient conditions
- Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
- Perform patient assessments and respond to changes in condition
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on care and discharge plans
- Document care and patient outcomes in the EMR
