We’re looking for an experienced Hematology & Medical Oncology physician to join a Detroit-based program that blends clinical care, academics, and research. This permanent role supports both inpatient and outpatient services and is available ASAP on an ongoing basis to cover a current vacancy. You’ll spend most of your time in leadership (approximately 75%) and the remainder in direct clinical practice (about 25%). Work days, call schedule, and specific hours are TBD, with optional call.
What you’ll do
- Lead and grow system-wide oncology services, including overseeing the Bone Marrow Transplant Program and infusion programs.
- Drive integration and expansion of oncology offerings across sites while fostering multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Provide hands-on clinical care in both inpatient and outpatient settings as needed.
- Support academic and research initiatives tied to the program.
Practice environment & tools
- Facility located in Detroit, MI.
- Practice uses Epic for medical records.
- Open to H-1B visa candidates.
Qualifications
- Board certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
- Active Michigan medical license or willingness to obtain one.
- DEA registration.
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Clean professional record and most recent NPDB report.
- Completion of Hematology/Oncology fellowship.
- Experienced physicians only.
