Required qualification:

• Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license

Core responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing.
• Determine diagnoses and severity of communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with clear goals based on assessment findings.
• Provide direct therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language, and pragmatic skills.
• Evaluate and manage dysphagia; implement and teach safe swallowing strategies.
• Recommend and provide guidance on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) when indicated.
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic strategies, home programs, and carryover activities.
• Monitor, document, and update patient progress; modify treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to coordinate care.
• Support patients in applying communication and swallowing skills to daily, educational, or work settings.
• Participate in relevant professional development to remain current in best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
