Required:

• Valid, active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license

Key responsibilities:

• Assist the Occupational Therapist with patient evaluations to identify physical and functional limitations.
• Collaborate on development of individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, mobility, and activities of daily living.
• Instruct patients in use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
• Document treatments, progress, and condition changes accurately and promptly.
• Provide patient and family education and training for home exercise programs.
• Communicate regularly with the OT and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement; perform other duties as assigned by management.
