Job Description
Adelphi is seeking part time or full time Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to support a state healthcare facility in St. Louis, Missouri. The BCBAs will provide around the clock care and support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The providers will be accountable for preparing and administering behavior support plans to enhance adaptive behaviors and diminish challenging behaviors. The sites are Intermediate Care Facilities in a congregant care setting. Services are delivered on-site during standard business hours in coordination with facility staff and treatment programs.

Requirements
• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
• Compliance with all Missouri licensure requirements for Behavior Analysts.
• Knowledge of applied behavior analysis and modification principles, theories and techniques.
• Knowledge of mental illness and/or developmental disabilities and their effect on individual cognitive and behavioral functioning.
• Ability to assess and interpret behaviors and data, and train facility staff, caregivers, and family members in behavioral analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of state and federal behavioral health standards.
Responsibilities
• Work with individuals dually diagnosed with developmental disabilities and mental illness.
• Function as an active member of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Observe client behavior to complete initial behavioral assessments and determine any additional data needs.
• Design and implement behavior support plans to enhance adaptive behaviors, diminish challenging behaviors and assist with transition
to less restrictive settings.
• Determine progress toward goals and help modify behavior support plans accordingly.
• Participate in treatment team meetings to develop, review and update treatment plans.
