Job Description

Ref #: C-LPN-9088233

Join a friendly clinical team in Lebanon, NH for a 12-week, contract non-travel assignment starting ASAP. This role follows a 07:00 AM–07:30 PM schedule and pays $994 per 36 hours (local rate).

What we’re looking for

  • Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license.
  • Current BLS certification.

What you’ll do

  • Provide hands-on nursing care under RN or physician supervision — medication administration, wound care, vital signs, and routine assessments.
  • Perform focused patient assessments (physical exams, medical history, medication review) and help develop individualized care plans.
  • Give medications and treatments accurately, follow protocols, and document everything clearly.
  • Assess, clean, dress, and monitor wounds, watching for infection or complications.
  • Monitor and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respirations) and report changes promptly.
  • Manage IV therapy when indicated: insert, monitor, and troubleshoot IV lines and administered fluids/medications.
  • Care for patients with urinary catheters, including insertion, maintenance, and surveillance for issues.
  • Collect specimens (blood, urine, sputum) for laboratory testing.
  • Educate patients and families about conditions, medications, self-care, and preventive health measures.
  • Support patient comfort and safety — positioning, mobility assistance, and pain management.
  • Respond quickly in emergencies and provide basic life support as needed.
  • Follow strict infection control practices, including hand hygiene and PPE use.
  • Safely handle, store, and dispose of medications and supplies in line with regulations.
  • Collaborate closely with RNs, physicians, therapists, CNAs, and other team members to ensure coordinated care.
  • Advocate for patients’ needs and help ensure they receive appropriate services.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient status, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Stay current with nursing best practices and complete required ongoing training.
  • Supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel when assigned.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

If you’re an LPN who values teamwork, clear communication, and compassionate patient care, this Lebanon assignment could be a great fit.
