Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Nurse License.
- Current CPR certification with Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association).
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
- Previous dialysis experience required.
- Prior experience in acute care or ambulatory nursing preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide and oversee safe, effective dialysis treatments in accordance with established protocols.
- Educate patients and families on dialysis care, treatment plans, and disease management.
- Supervise and support Dialysis Technicians to ensure quality care delivery.
- Adjust treatment parameters per standing orders and physician direction.
- Monitor patient response to treatment and document clinical outcomes.
- Administer medications as prescribed and according to policy.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, including nephrologists, social workers, and dietitians.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and compliance activities.
- Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Support continuous improvement of patient care processes across clinic locations.
