Support: NNPs on staff
Specialty backup: Neonatologist, MFM, Anesthesiologist
Travel, lodging, and malpractice coverage provided
Core responsibilities:
- OB triage evaluation and management
- Attend and manage deliveries; surgical assist for cesarean sections
- Inpatient obstetric care and L&D emergency response, including fetal monitoring
- Cover OB floor and respond to ER consults for gynecology
- See unassigned patients and handle private call as needed
Requirements:
- Active Texas medical license or participation in IMLC
- Board Certified (BC) in OB/GYN
- NPDB report required
