Responsibilities
- PNPs work 9hour shifts
- Responsible for covering newborn services at:
- Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center (Charlotte)
- Novant Health Medical Center – Matthews
- Novant Health Medical Center – Huntersville
- Function as an integral part of a collaborative neonatology care team
- Approximately 6,000 deliveries annually at Presbyterian Medical Center, with continued growth in newborn services
- The neonatology team supervises the care of approximately 7,500 well babies annually
- The Level IV NICU supports approximately:
- 850 NICU admissions per year
- Average daily census of 60 babies
- Strong support from a wide range of pediatric subspecialties, including:
- Pediatric Surgery
- Neurosurgery
- Neurology
- Pulmonology
- Cardiology
- Mild, temperate weather
- Numerous outdoor recreational opportunities

Qualifications
- Current APRN national specialty certification
