Emergency Medicine Physician Medical Director in Oklahoma City, OK

TeamHealth is seeking a collaborative emergency medicine physician to serve as medical director across Oklahoma Heart Hospital's North and South campuses in Oklahoma City. This is a unique leadership opportunity within a physician-owned, cardiovascular-focused hospital system, offering a highly efficient and specialized EM environment. As medical director, you will have the ability to lead, shape, and optimize operations across two distinct sites, working closely with hospital leadership and cardiology teams to drive clinical excellence and team performance.

Medical Director Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative leadership across both campuses
• Partner with hospital and TeamHealth leadership on strategic and operational initiatives
• Drive quality, safety, and patient experience metrics
• Lead physician engagement, scheduling oversight, and performance management
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of EM clinicians
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture

Oklahoma Heart Hospital is a nationally recognized, physician-owned cardiovascular system dedicated exclusively to heart care.
