Rate: Travel: $2,383/36 hrs; Local: $2,347/36 hrs

Requirements:

  • Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
  • Administer and interpret clinical evaluations and diagnostic tests to determine type and severity of disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with clear goals based on assessment findings.
  • Provide direct therapy to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language.
  • Evaluate and treat dysphagia; implement and teach safe swallowing strategies.
  • Recommend, instruct in, and support use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as indicated.
  • Educate patients and families on techniques, exercises, and carryover strategies.
  • Monitor, document, and report patient progress; modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely patient records including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Facilitate patient generalization of communication skills to home, school, and work environments.
  • Participate in professional development to remain current in the field.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
