Schedule: 36 hours/week — Sun–Sat, 08:00 AM–04:30 PM
Rate: Travel: $1,548/36 hrs; Local: $1,526/36 hrs

Required:

• Active, valid Occupational Therapy Assistant state license

Primary responsibilities:

• Assist the Occupational Therapist with patient evaluations to identify physical and functional limitations.
• Collaborate on and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, mobility, and activities of daily living.
• Instruct patients in the safe use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
• Document treatments, progress, and changes in condition accurately and timely.
• Train patients and families in home exercise programs and self-care strategies.
• Communicate regularly with the OT and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Follow safety and infection-control policies to maintain a safe therapy environment.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during therapy.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
