Travel RN — Employee Health & Infection Prevention (Novato, CA)

Join a Novato, CA health team as a contract Registered Nurse supporting Employee Health and Infection Prevention. This day-shift role (8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) starts ASAP, is full-time (40 hours/week), and pays $2,300/40-hours.

Core responsibilities:

• Oversee employee and occupational health services, including program management and policy implementation.
• Conduct health screenings, administer immunizations, and manage exposure follow-up.
• Monitor, track, and report infectious diseases and other reportable conditions per regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and audit infection prevention policies, protocols, and compliance activities.
• Perform surveillance, investigate exposures and outbreaks, and recommend corrective interventions.
• Educate staff on infection control practices, safety standards, and regulatory expectations.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and required reports.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in California.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).
• BLS certification required.
• Previous experience in infection prevention, employee health, or occupational/occupational health preferred.
• Familiarity with CDC guidelines and infection control standards.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
