We’re looking for an experienced RN to join a Progressive Care Unit/Stepdown team in Louisville, KY for a short-term contract. This bundled assignment runs from 05/06/2026 to 06/10/2026 and includes 18 evening-to-night shifts (06:45 PM – 07:15 AM). Pay is $49.30/hr.

What we’re looking for

• Active RN license in your practicing state.
• Experience in PCU, step-down, or critical care is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organization, and clear communication.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

What you’ll be doing

• Monitor patients closely and assess vital signs and changing conditions.
• Safely administer medications and ordered treatments.
• Escalate care promptly when a patient’s status changes.
• Educate patients and families about the plan of care and self-management.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the medical record.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, other nurses, and the care team.
