Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in practicing state
• 1–2 years telemetry or step-down nursing experience preferred
• Proficient in EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia identification
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and multitasking skills
• Experience with EMR systems and telemetry equipment

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms continuously; identify and report arrhythmias
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and regular vital signs
• Administer medications, IV drips, and treatments per orders
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient status in EMR
• Communicate patient changes promptly to providers and escalate as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for patient care coordination
• Provide patient and family education related to treatment and discharge instructions
