Schedule: 3 days/week (FTE)
Patient population
- Adults
- Volume: ~12–15 patients/day
- Case mix: ~80% oncology, ~20% hematology (benign & malignant)
Clinical responsibilities
- Perform hematology and oncology consults
- Manage chemotherapy and systemic treatment plans
- Diagnose and manage benign and malignant hematologic conditions
- Bone marrow procedures preferred but not required
- Coordinate care with NP, nursing, interdisciplinary teams
- Document care in Epic EMR
Facility and support
- EMR: Epic
- Standard oncology clinic resources available
- Support staff: 1 nurse practitioner and nursing support
- Interventional Radiology backup for bone marrow procedures
Privileges, credentialing, and compliance
- Hospital privileges required
- Credentialing timeline: ~120 days
- Must meet immunization and credentialing requirements
Qualifications
- NY medical license required
- Board certified in Hematology/Oncology
- Other certifications/DEA not specified
