Rate: Travel: $1,505/35 hrs; Local: $1,484/35 hrs

Required:

• Valid, active Occupational Therapy Assistant state license

Core responsibilities:

• Assist the Occupational Therapist with patient evaluations to identify physical and functional limitations.
• Collaborate on and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver interventions to improve motor skills, mobility, and activities of daily living.
• Instruct patients in proper use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment.
• Document patient status, progress, treatments, and changes in condition accurately and timely.
• Provide patient and family education and training for home exercise programs.
• Communicate with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Follow safety and infection-control protocols.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
