Travel LPN/LVN Long Term Care (10-Week Contract) — Bloomfield, NM (Night Shift)

We’re looking for an LPN to join a team in Bloomfield, NM for a 10-week travel contract starting ASAP. This is a night shift position (Friday–Saturday, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM) with a travel rate of $878 per 24 hours.

What you’ll need:

• Active, valid LPN license for the state.
• BLS certification.

What you’ll do:
You’ll provide hands-on nursing care under RN or physician direction—administering medications, doing wound care, monitoring vitals, and performing patient assessments to help create individualized care plans. You’ll give medications and IV fluids safely, manage urinary catheters, collect samples for labs, and record changes in patients’ conditions accurately. Patient and family education on diagnoses, medications, and self-care is an important part of the role, as is addressing comfort, mobility, and pain management.

You’ll collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff to keep care coordinated and respond quickly in emergencies using established protocols and basic life support. Infection control, safe handling and disposal of medications and supplies, and promotion of preventive care (vaccinations, screenings, health assessments) are expected. In some situations you may supervise CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel. You’ll also stay current with nursing best practices and complete other duties as assigned by management.
