Join a teleradiology team providing locum tenens coverage for inpatient and outpatient services in Chester, Virginia. This call-only role supports VISN 9 medical centers and affiliated radiology sites, providing supplemental coverage on an ongoing basis, ASAP start.

Primary Responsibilities
- Interpret and dictate diagnostic imaging studies via DICOM and the VA teleradiology platform.
- Complete STAT reads within 45 minutes and Stroke Protocol CTs within 30 minutes; routine reads within 24 hours.
- Communicate critical findings directly to the ordering physician.
- Participate in peer review and QA activities.
- Service multiple VISN 9 medical centers and associated radiology sites.
Technology & Support
- Full teleradiology platform with secure connectivity to VA systems (PACS, VistA).
- PACS dictation system with voice recognition.
- HL7 interface for reporting and a web-based portal for exam management.
- Support staff available.
- Malpractice insurance provided.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state.
- Board certified or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology and/or Nuclear Medicine.
- DEA registration.
- Completion of VA-mandated HIPAA, privacy, and security training; compliance with VA training requirements.
