Locum tenens opportunity in Douglas, Wyoming, providing clinical anesthesia services in a 25-bed, Level III hospital. Flexible scheduling beginning May 18, 2026, with ongoing coverage; exact shift pattern to be determined.

Practice profile:

• Patient population: Adults and pediatrics; approximately 5,500 ED visits and ~250 deliveries annually.
• Case mix: General anesthesia for orthopedics, OB/GYN, GI, urology, podiatry, ophthalmology, pain management, bariatrics, and general surgery.
• Support: Dedicated OR and perioperative staff with specialty backup available (OB/GYN, ortho, GI, neurosurgery, ENT, urology, etc.).
• Equipment: Standard anesthesia and surgical equipment available.

Clinical responsibilities:

• Deliver general, regional, spinal, and epidural anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients.
• Perform regional/nerve blocks and obstetric anesthesia; manage invasive and noninvasive ventilation; assist with bronchoscopy cases as needed.
• Provide anesthesia coverage across surgical specialties, support obstetric and spine cases, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital protocols.

Requirements:

• Active Wyoming license or participation in the IMLC.
• NBCRNA certification.
• ACLS required; PALS required if performing pediatric sedation.
• Comfort managing a broad range of anesthesia procedures, including OB and spine cases.
