Locums General Surgery/Elective

We are seeking a Locums Board-Certified General Surgeon to support and expand an Elective General Surgery program. This opportunity offers a non-trauma, elective-focused practice, providing a more predictable schedule and strong work–life balance. The ideal candidate is experienced in a wide range of general surgery procedures and enjoys working in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Position Details

• Practice Type: Elective General Surgery
• Trauma: None
• Schedule: 3 weeks on 1 week off
• Focus on planned surgical cases and outpatient/inpatient elective procedures

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of elective general surgery procedures
• Conduct endoscopic procedures, including EGD and colonoscopy
• Participate in the growth and development of the elective surgery program
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of providers and support staff
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered surgical care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

• Board Certified in General Surgery
• Active Arkansas medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Experience with endoscopy and EGD procedures required
