Seeking a locum tenens Maternal–Fetal Medicine physician to supplement a high-volume practice in York, Pennsylvania. This clinical-only position supports both outpatient clinic and hospital care beginning May 10, 2026 and continuing on an ongoing basis.
Location and Schedule
- Facility: York, PA (outpatient clinic / hospital)
- Coverage period: May 10, 2026 – ongoing
- Days: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
- Call: none (full-time preferred; will consider candidates available one week per month)
- Patient volume: approximately 25 patients/day
Clinical Responsibilities
- High-risk obstetric consultations and management of complex maternal–fetal conditions
- Perform and interpret ultrasounds, including Level II targeted exams
- Fetal echocardiography
- Genetic amniocentesis
- Phone consultations and care coordination with multidisciplinary OB and specialty teams
Support and Systems
- Clinical team: 2 RNs, 2 MAs, 2 APPs
- Multidisciplinary OB and specialty teams available
- EMR: Epic
Logistics and Credentialing
- Temporary privileges available with a clean file
- Approximate credentialing timeline: ~90 days
- Travel, lodging, and malpractice: not specified
Requirements
- Active PA medical license or participation in IMLC
- Board certified or eligible in Maternal–Fetal Medicine
- DEA registration
- BLS certification
- Minimum one year of MFM experience required
- Strong ultrasound diagnostic skills preferred
