Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to provide inpatient cardiology coverage in Pennsylvania. This is a call-based role with Cath Lab support, focused on providing critical cardiac care including STEMI response, cardiac caths, and interventions. Providers will be cross-credentialed and rotate between both sites based on scheduling needs.
Shift Details:
- 1 weekend per month:
Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM (call coverage) - 1 full week per month:
Monday–Friday with 24-hour call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM) + cath lab - 1 additional week per quarter:
Flexible scheduling, including potential weekend coverage
Responsibilities:
- STEMI coverage and response (30-minute response time required)
- Cardiac catheterizations and interventional procedures
- Preferred experience with PCI and PE interventions
- Inpatient consultative role only (not admitting)
- Hospitalists manage admissions
- EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- Board Certified
- Valid Pennsylvania State License
- Certifications in ACLS and BLS required
- Must have at least 3 years of experience
