Located in Portsmouth, Ohio
**About the Position**
Hospital-employed Pediatrician opportunity joining an established team in southern Ohio. This is a full-time position for a Board Certified or Board Eligible physician. The practice offers a flexible schedule with weekday clinic hours and the option of 3 12-hour shifts.
**Practice Details**
-Practice location: Portsmouth, Ohio
-Full-time, hospital-employed position
-Monday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 3 12-hour shifts
-Weekend office hours scheduled every 12 weekends
-Possible late evening hours from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM or weekend hours from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM
-40-hour work week with adjusted weekday hours when working 12-hour days or weekends
-Nursery rounding and call coverage shared among 5 providers
**Team and Support**
-7 Physicians
-9 APPs
-Office Manager, MOAs, and LPNs
-Close collaboration with Nationwide Children’s and Cincinnati Children’s
-Monthly education with Nationwide Children’s, school health collaborative, and Partners for Kids
-Cincinnati Children’s provides specialty care in Portsmouth and West Union locations as well as through HealthVine
**Patient Volume and Clinical Scope**
-Approximately 25 patients per day
-On-site lab services
-Point-of-care testing includes lead, hemoglobin, urine, bilirubin, strep, flu, pregnancy, oxygen, and nebulizer treatments
**Procedures**
-Wart removal
-Casting
-Ear irrigation
-Ingrown toenail treatment
-Incision and drainage
-Cryotherapy
-Nursery procedures including NRP, attendance at higher-risk deliveries, newborn airway management, umbilical line placement, and stabilization while awaiting transfer
**Compensation and Benefits**
-2-year contract
-29 paid days off
-Additional 5 PTO days when producing at the 75th percentile in wRVUs
-5 CME days and up to $5,000 for CME/books/journals
-Medical school loan repayment up to $200,000 paid at $25,000 per year of service commitment
-403(b) plan with dollar-for-dollar match up to 2% of base pay
-457(b) deferred compensation plan available
-$10,000 moving expense allowance paid to moving company
-Claims-made malpractice coverage at $2,000,000 per claim / $6,000,000 aggregate
-Health insurance with small employee premium deducted from paycheck
-Sign-on bonus of 15% of base salary up to $100,000, paid at contract signing and forgiven over 2-4 years
-Residency stipend up to $25,000 with service commitment
-Productivity bonus incentives up to 10% of salary
