• Coverage Model: 4 Physicians 7a-7p, 1 NP/PA 12p-12a, 1 Physician 7p-7a
• Number of Beds: 260
• EMR: Cerner
• ICU: Open, HM physicians are attending, but 24 hour intensivist team
• Admissions: Avg 10 night admissions

Qualifications

• Education: MD/DO
• Licensure: Illinois
• Board Certification: Internal Medicine/Family Medicine
• Badges: ACLS
• Experience: 2 years HM experience

Community Information:

Elk Grove Village is a suburban community located about 20–25 miles northwest of Chicago, right next to O’Hare International Airport. It has around 30,000–33,000 residents and is known for combining a quiet residential area with a major business and industrial presence.

A defining feature is its massive industrial park—one of the largest in North America—which makes the village an important economic hub in the Chicago area, especially for manufacturing, logistics, and corporate offices.

Despite its strong business side, Elk Grove Village maintains a suburban feel with neighborhoods, parks, and schools, plus a unique local attraction: a small herd of elk kept in nearby forest preserve land, which inspired the village’s name.
