Requirements:
- Active RN license in the practicing state.
- Experience in cardiac care, cath lab, or interventional cardiology preferred.
- Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; specialty cath lab certifications preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist patients during cath lab and angiography procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and hemodynamic status throughout procedures.
- Administer medications, contrast agents, and emergency interventions as needed.
- Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and follow-up care.
- Document care, procedural details, and patient outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, technologists, and other healthcare team members.
