Requirements:
- Active RN license
- Graduate of accredited nursing program
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
- Previous OR and/or PACU experience required
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and recovery standards
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative nursing care in OR and PACU settings
- Circulate surgical procedures and ensure sterile technique
- Prepare and position patients for surgery
- Monitor patients during procedures and recovery
- Assess airway, pain, and post-anesthesia status
- Administer medications and IV therapy as ordered
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical team
- Document care and patient response in EMR
