Join a dynamic PACU team in Hilo, HI for a contract/travel RN assignment starting ASAP. This varied-shift role offers $2,228 per 40-hour week and is ideal for nurses with perioperative or post-anesthesia experience who thrive in fast-paced recovery settings.

What we’re looking for

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• PACU, post-anesthesia, or perioperative nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor airway, vital signs, level of consciousness, and overall patient status immediately post-procedure.
• Administer medications, manage pain, and provide prescribed interventions.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes or complications in patient condition.
• Provide clear post-procedure education and discharge instructions to patients and families.
• Accurately document care and collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure safe transitions.
