Travel RN – Operating Room (Circulating Nurse) — Vail, CO (Contract)

Join a fast-paced OR team in Vail, CO — a contract/travel opportunity starting ASAP. This days-only assignment is 32 hours per week with a pay rate of $2,342 per 32-hour shift period.

What you’ll be doing

• Get patients and the operating room ready for procedures, ensuring the environment and equipment are set and sterile.
• Circulate during surgery: monitor patient status, anticipate team needs, assist surgeons and anesthesiologists, and maintain aseptic technique.
• Administer medications as ordered and document all care, surgical details, and patient outcomes accurately.
• Teach patients and families about pre- and post-operative care and answer questions to support smooth recoveries.
• Communicate and collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiology, and OR staff to keep cases running safely and efficiently.

What we’re looking for

• Active RN license for the practicing state.
• Perioperative or surgical nursing experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, organizational abilities, and clear communication skills.
• BLS required; CNOR or other perioperative certifications are a plus.
