**Locums-to-Perm | Cardiothoracic Surgery | Call Only | Fort Wayne, IN**
**Why This Role**
- High-acuity cardiothoracic program with full surgical scope
- Strong support team with APP and nursing coverage
- Opportunity to transition into permanent role
**Assignment Details**
- Start: ASAP
- Ongoing coverage
- Schedule: Call Only (In-house)
- Call Ratio: 1:3
- Response Time: 20 minutes
- Setting: Inpatient
- EMR: Cerner
**Clinical Details**
- 10–15 patients per day
- 10 admissions per shift
- Full scope cardiothoracic and vascular surgery
- Procedures include CABG (on/off pump), valve repair/replacement, TAVR, LVAD, aneurysm repair, lung resections, bronchoscopy, and vascular procedures
- Supervision of APP required
**Requirements**
- Board Eligible/Certified Cardiothoracic Surgery
- IN license required
- ACLS, ATLS, BLS
- Fellowship trained
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
