Coverage period: ASAP – ongoing
Shift coverage: Inpatient / Nursery / ED (schedule TBD)
Patient volume: 16–18 per day
Beds: 30 total; 16 PICU
Trauma level: II
ICU: Open
Key responsibilities
- Provide inpatient pediatric care, including management in the PICU and general pediatric wards
- Perform newborn nursery examinations
- Provide pediatric consultations in the Emergency Department
- Participate in teaching and supervision of pediatric residents and medical students
Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible (BC/BE) in Pediatrics
- Nevada medical license active or candidate willing to obtain
- DEA registration / CSR
- Clean professional record (highly preferred)
- Most recent NPDB self-query report
