Position overview
Provide infusion nursing care in accordance with protocols and facility policies. Administer and monitor infusions, assess and respond to patient reactions, educate patients and caregivers, document treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective care.

Minimum requirements

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• BLS certification
• Experience in infusion nursing, oncology, or specialty therapies preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, organizational, and patient-communication skills
• Specialty infusion certifications preferred

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, administer, and titrate infusion therapies per orders and protocols
• Monitor patients during and after infusions; identify and manage adverse reactions promptly
• Provide clear education to patients and caregivers on therapy, side effects, and aftercare
• Accurately document treatments, patient responses, and care plans in the medical record
• Communicate and coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient care
