Requirements:

• Active, valid Occupational Therapy state license
• CPR and BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross (with AED)

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive function and environmental factors to identify limitations and set measurable goals
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and the interdisciplinary team
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills, independence, and functional outcomes
• Recommend, instruct in, and fit adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Teach and practice activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental ADLs with patients
• Educate patients and families on condition management and strategies to maximize independence
• Monitor, document, and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and response
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate, timely records including evaluations, treatment notes, and discharge summaries
• Facilitate patient transitions back to home, community, or work settings
• Stay current with occupational therapy best practices and participate in professional development
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
