Requirements:

• Valid, active Physical Therapy Assistant state license

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Physical Therapist with patient evaluations, medical history collection, and goal setting
• Implement prescribed interventions and therapeutic exercises to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility
• Administer modalities and operate therapeutic equipment as directed
• Instruct patients in exercise programs, proper techniques, and home programs for recovery
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans and home care
• Document treatments, patient response, and progress accurately and timely
• Communicate and coordinate with the Physical Therapist and multidisciplinary team regarding care plans
• Follow safety and infection control protocols
• Provide encouragement and emotional support to patients
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
