LPN/LVN Nights Long-Term Care in Albuquerque (36-hr Local Contract, $1,019/36hrs)

Join our team in Albuquerque, NM for a 9-week, contract (non-travel) opportunity starting ASAP. This evening/night shift runs 06:30 PM–06:30 AM. Local rate: $1,019 for 36 hours.

What we’re looking for

• Active, valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) state license
• Current BLS certification

What you’ll do
You’ll provide hands-on nursing care under the direction of RNs and physicians. Typical duties include administering medications and IVs, dressing and monitoring wounds, taking and documenting vital signs, and performing focused patient assessments to help create individualized care plans. You’ll collect specimens for lab testing, care for urinary catheters, assist with patient comfort and mobility, and respond to emergencies using established protocols.

You’ll document changes in condition, treatments, and medications accurately, educate patients and families about conditions and self-care, and promote preventive health measures. Infection control, safe handling and disposal of medications and supplies, and adherence to facility policies are part of daily practice.

Collaboration is key: you’ll work closely with RNs, physicians, therapists, CNAs, and support staff. In some cases you may oversee CNAs or unlicensed assistive personnel to ensure quality care. You’ll also advocate for patients’ needs and stay current through ongoing education. Other duties may be assigned by Management.
