Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Cardiac Cath Lab contract coverage. Provide peri-procedural nursing care, monitoring, medication administration, patient education, and accurate documentation while collaborating with the cath lab team.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior experience in cardiac care, cath lab, or critical care preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and assist during procedures
• Monitor and document vital signs and cardiac status pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
• Administer medications and contrast agents per orders and facility protocols
• Provide patient and family education on procedures, recovery, and follow-up
• Accurately document care, procedure details, and patient outcomes
• Communicate and collaborate with cardiologists, techs, and the multidisciplinary team
