Join a fast-paced surgical team in Kentfield/Greenbrae, CA as a contract Registered Nurse specializing in Pre-op/PACU. This day-shift opportunity (Mon–Fri, days; 36-hour week) begins ASAP and offers $2,308/36-hours.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the practicing state
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Perioperative or PACU experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a high-volume surgical environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and prepare patients for surgery, including medical history review and vital signs assessment
• Monitor and manage patients in the PACU, addressing pain control and anesthetic recovery
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and institutional protocols
• Accurately document patient care and maintain medical records
• Provide clear education to patients and families about pre- and postoperative care
• Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and hospital policies
