Join our team in Vallejo, CA as a Physical Therapy Assistant on a 13-week contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. Schedule is full-time 08:00 AM–04:30 PM, Sunday–Saturday; compensation: Travel rate $1,505/35 hours or Local rate $1,484/35 hours.

Requirements:

• Valid, active Physical Therapy Assistant state license.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Physical Therapist in patient evaluations, history-taking, and goal setting.
• Implement prescribed interventions and exercise programs to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility.
• Administer modalities and operate therapeutic equipment safely and effectively.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on exercise techniques and home programs to promote recovery.
• Accurately document treatments, patient progress, and communications in medical records.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and refine treatment plans.
• Maintain safety and infection-control standards in the therapy environment.
• Provide encouragement and emotional support to patients during rehabilitation.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
