Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) — 14-Week Contract in Somerville, OH | Competitive Pay & Full-Time Schedule

We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a Somerville, OH team on a 14-week contract starting ASAP. This role offers a full-time schedule (Sun–Sat, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) and competitive pay: Travel $1,628/35 hrs or Local $1,603/35 hrs.

What you’ll bring:

• Active, valid Occupational Therapy state license
• Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included)

What you’ll do:

• Assess patients’ physical and cognitive abilities, plus their home or work environments, to identify limitations and set meaningful goals
• Develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with patients and the care team
• Use a variety of therapeutic techniques to improve daily living skills and independence
• Recommend and instruct patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive devices
• Teach and practice daily living activities to build patients’ confidence and skill
• Educate patients and families on condition management and strategies for independence
• Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate and timely records, including evaluations and progress notes
• Support patients’ transitions back into the community and workplace
• Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and participate in professional development
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
