Job Description
We’re looking for a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner to join a friendly outpatient team in Clifton Springs, NY on a locum tenens basis. This is clinical-only coverage running roughly July 20, 2026 through January 2027, Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
You’ll be seeing primarily adults and adolescents, averaging about 25–35 patients a day, and managing general dermatology evaluations and treatments. The clinic uses Epic for charting and is equipped with standard dermatology tools. You’ll have specialty backup from a dermatology team that covers multiple sites and support from clinical staff (roughly one LPN/RN/MA per 12 patients). Occasional floating to other dermatology sites within the network may be required.
Must-haves:
- Active New York license in hand
- Board certified
- BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of recent dermatology experience
- Recent Epic experience
- No significant gaps in work history
Core responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality outpatient dermatology care, diagnosing and treating a range of skin conditions
- Collaborate with the dermatology team and onsite support staff
- Document visits accurately in Epic
- Float to additional sites as needed for coverage
