**Locums | Cardiothoracic Surgery | Clinic + Call | Santa Monica, CA**
**Why This Role**
- High-impact cardiothoracic coverage with strong support and flexible shared call
- Mix of clinic and call with predictable weekly onsite day
- Fast start potential with temp privileges for clean files
**Assignment Details**
- Start: ASAP (target May start)
- Ongoing assignment
- Schedule: Weekly clinic day (Wed 7a–3p) + 24hr beeper call coverage
- Coverage can be split between 2 providers
- Setting: Inpatient + Outpatient
- EMR: Epic
**Clinical Details**
- Primary need is backup for urgent cardiothoracic cases
- 24hr call with limited patient contact (~3 hours included)
- Clinic day required weekly
- Must be comfortable with ECMO cannulation and management
- Full scope cardiac/thoracic including CABG, valve, aneurysm repair, LVAD
**Requirements**
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3–5 years)
- Active California license + DEA
- BLS required
- Clean malpractice / NPDB strongly preferred for temp privileges
**Compensation**
- Rates: Facility is accepting bids
- Malpractice: Provided
- Travel: Reimbursed
