We’re seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to provide locum tenens coverage in Greensboro, NC. This role is clinical only and based in a hospital float pool, covering multiple OR areas and non-OR anesthesia locations.

Assignment details

• Duration: August 17, 2026 – February 2027 (26 weeks)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (5x8 full-time required; flexible non-consecutive days; must be able to float across locations)
• Coverage type: Supplemental clinical coverage across hospital sites

Patient and case mix

• Patient ages: All ages
• Volume: Department handles 60+ cases per day
• Typical cases: General surgery, orthopedics, GYN, ENT, vascular, thoracic, neuro, trauma, plus NORA cases (IR, EP, Endo, MRI)

Facility and support

• EMR: Epic
• Equipment: Drager anesthesia machines, Philips monitoring
• Staffing: Multidisciplinary OR teams and specialty backup via a medical direction model

Privileges, credentialing, and compliance

• Hospital privileges required
• Credentialing timeline: 60–90 days

Compensation and logistics

• Rate: TBD
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice: TBD

Required experience, licenses, and certifications

• Licensure: Active NC license required (compact license accepted)
• Board certification: NBCRNA required
• Certifications: ACLS and PALS required
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years clinical experience; no new graduates
• Other: Must be able to float across locations and accept non-consecutive day scheduling

Clinical responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across multiple hospital locations
• Administer general anesthesia and perform airway management; regional anesthesia preferred
• Work within the medical direction model
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
