Contract travel opportunity in Hilo, HI for an experienced emergency/acute care nurse. Nights, start ASAP. Compensation: $2,144 per 40-hour week.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the practicing state.
• Emergency department or acute care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and clear communication.
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, and/or TNCC preferred.

Core responsibilities

• Triage and rapidly assess patients on arrival to determine acuity and immediate needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions according to protocol.
• Continuously monitor patient status and promptly communicate changes to physicians and the care team.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient records.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and discharge/follow-up care.
• Engage in ER quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
