RN Supervisor / Charge Nurse — Med Surg & ER Nights (Hamburg, IA)

Join a tight-knit team in Hamburg, IA as a night shift RN supervisor/charge nurse covering Med Surg and ER. This is a contract/travel opportunity starting ASAP with a 7p–7a schedule (36 hours) and a rate of $2,182/36-hours.

What you’ll be doing:

• Work as the hands-on supervisor for both Medical-Surgical and Emergency departments, providing direct patient care while managing unit operations.
• Coordinate staffing and assignments, manage patient flow, and respond quickly to emergencies and high-acuity situations.
• Ensure clinical care meets established protocols and regulatory standards.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff and collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation for patient care and unit activities.

What we’re looking for:

• Active RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• Experience in Med Surg and/or Emergency Nursing is required; previous charge or leadership experience is preferred.
• OB/Newborn stabilization training is a plus.
