Rate: Travel: $1,775/35-hours; Local: $1,750/35-hours

Requirements:

  • Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing function using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing
  • Diagnose type and severity of communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language
  • Evaluate and treat dysphagia; implement and teach safe swallowing strategies
  • Recommend and provide guidance on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as needed
  • Educate patients and families on strategies and home/practice exercises to support progress
  • Monitor, document, and regularly update patient progress; modify treatment plans accordingly
  • Maintain accurate, current patient records including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to coordinate care
  • Facilitate patient carryover of communication skills in daily, academic, and work settings
  • Participate in professional development to maintain current best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
