Schedule: Sun–Sat, 08:00 AM–04:30 PM
Rate: Travel: $1,775/35-hours; Local: $1,750/35-hours
Requirements:
- Valid, active Speech-Language Pathologist state license
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, communication, and swallowing function using clinical evaluation and diagnostic testing
- Diagnose type and severity of communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable goals
- Provide therapeutic interventions to address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language
- Evaluate and treat dysphagia; implement and teach safe swallowing strategies
- Recommend and provide guidance on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as needed
- Educate patients and families on strategies and home/practice exercises to support progress
- Monitor, document, and regularly update patient progress; modify treatment plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate, current patient records including assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and other team members to coordinate care
- Facilitate patient carryover of communication skills in daily, academic, and work settings
- Participate in professional development to maintain current best practices
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
