Permanent opportunity in Munster, IN for a general orthopedic surgeon with optional sports medicine focus. Hospital- and clinic-based position within an established, multidisciplinary physician group experiencing growth and expansion. Monday–Friday clinical schedule (flexible) with a 1:6 inpatient/outpatient call rotation.

Clinical scope and volume

• Adult patient population; clinic sees ~30 patients/day.
• Broad general orthopedics case mix with opportunity to incorporate sports medicine or other subspecialty interests.
• Responsibilities include clinic visits, hospital admissions, rounding, phone consults, and operative care.

Facility and support

• Epic EMR (HIMSS Stage VII).
• Fully equipped orthopedic procedural offices and comprehensive specialty backup.
• Strong support staff and mentorship within an established group.

Privileges, compliance, and timeline

• Hospital privileges required; credentialing typically 90–120 days.

Compensation and benefits

• Competitive MGMA-based salary (negotiable) with RVU and quality-based incentives.

Qualifications

• BC or BE in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Eligible for IN medical license and DEA registration.

Procedures and duties

• Perform general orthopedic procedures; sports medicine procedures preferred.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient care, participate in call rotation, develop an independent practice, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain accurate documentation in Epic.
