Locum Tenens Cardiology NP/PA — Inpatient/Outpatient (Tucson, AZ; MayJul 2026)

Provide advanced cardiology care on a locum tenens basis in Tucson, AZ (85745) from May 1 – July 30, 2026. This inpatient/outpatient role includes clinical coverage plus beeper call with a 30-minute response expectation. The assignment is supplemental; travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are provided by the agency.

Typical patient volume: 5–20 patients seen daily, approximately 3 admissions and 15 phone consults per day. Rounding responsibilities are included. You will work independently and collaboratively with cardiologists to manage admissions, perform rounds, triage and respond to phone consults, and assist with interpretation of EKGs, telemetry, and other diagnostic data.

Facility uses Athena and Cerner; you will be supported by one APP. Temporary hospital privileges are available (no prior hospital privileges required). Requirements: Board Certified (BC) NP/PA in Cardiology, Arizona license, and current ACLS.
